Now, after the opening party, Black Box Gallery is officially open. The gallery would like to thank all those who visited the opening events and especially the artists who performed at the two events. We look forward to seeing you at the gallery again.

It is great to have a space again and I am looking forward to the opening party on Friday.
 
One of the reasons we are having the party is that Jacob suggested the opening be on November 11, 2011. The reason being in binary 111111 means on on on on on on -- this is how the computer would interpret this sequence of numbers. Being a gallery for new media art it is the perfect day to open.

At the same time as doing the finishing details on the opening, I am establishing contacts with new artists in far ranging places from Korea to Columbia. This assists in my goal to have the gallery be a place where new media art can be seen from all over the world – helping to create community for those who have interest in new media.

As for this friday, there are two acts confirmed. XTOGT and La Belle Indifference.
