Mogens Jacobsen is one of the first Danish artists to work with new media. In the 1990s he got involved in net.art and cofounded the Danish net.art group Artnode. Since 2001 he has mainly been working with networked physical installations. Jacobsen’s works often raise questions about political issues often with a humorous approach. Jacobsen has exhibited in numerous museums, galleries and festivals both in Denmark and around the world. Jacobsen was born in Rome, Italy and lives in Copenhagen.
