Eduardo Kac has been a pioneer of digital art. Today he works in a number of media including Bio Art. He is always pushing the window for what art can be.

Hans Bernard and Lizvix are the managers of the artist collective UBERMORGEN.COM. They work primarily with media based art in a genre they call media jamming. Their work is  often controversial and always thought provoking.
